We Spent Christmas in a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe
Quick Review of the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe
Ease of parking:It's one of those vehicles you don't really believe can fit in an ordinary parking spot until you slide right in. Just hop out and click the lock button with pride. Yes, you're an excellent parker!
Who should be behind the wheel: Santa—this SUV would make that whole delivering presents thing a breeze.
Gas sipper or guzzler:It was okay on gas. We drove 334 miles and stopped for gas once.
Space for:Seven people can fit comfortably. The trunk is huge (if you put the third row down).
Dashboard intimidation factor:Low, which I really appreciated. The touch screen allows you to easily navigate the controls for music, temperature, OnStar and more.
Will make you feel:In control! This is the type of SUV that demands attention on the road. Other drivers yield to you (and it's kind of awesome!!!)
Best for:Anyone that needs a lot of room for people or gear and a ride that's safe.
My family of four took a round trip to MA to my in-laws for the holidays. We essentially have two Christmas celebrations while there, one with immediate family and then again with cousins, aunts and uncles. No, it's not about the presents, but let's be honest... there are a lot of presents. And the stress of having to pack up the car pre- and post-holiday is pretty nerve-wracking. Plus, trying to cram all of the opened toys that never seem to fit back in their boxes into the car always ends in a fight between my husband and I. I love the holidays and all the family time (I actually really do!) but the thought of the coming and going always leaves me stressed out. When I got the chance to test out the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, I jumped (literally, I had to hoist myself up) into the driver's seat.
This SUV has it all! There is built-in Wi-Fi so the kids can play on their devices separately (meaning no fights!!!!), and my husband easily packed the car thanks to the roomy trunk. I was even able to sit back and enjoy Pandora (yes, it had that, too!).
