British Designers Collective At Bicester Village
Menswear Returns To GQ-Curated Space
Agi & Sam, Sibling and Christopher Raeburn are just some of the names on display as part of this year’s British Designers Collective at Bicester Village.
The pop-up boutique, curated by BritishGQ, aims to showcase the best in homegrown talent with around 3,500-pieces marking the first time menswear has featured in two years.
The mix of established and emerging designers includes Jonathan Saunders, Oliver Spencer, Lou Dalton, A Sauvage, Kit Neale and Casely-Hayford.
Alongside James Long, Hentsch Man, U-Clothing, Katie Eary, Huntergather and Alan Taylor in the 15-strong line-up are shoe designers Nicholas Kirkwood, Grenson and Mr Hare.
The space also features shoppable artwork selected by the Royal Academy of Arts, including limited edition prints from the likes of Mali Morris, Humphrey Ocean, Chris Orr and Bob & Roberta Smith.
Associate editor of BritishGQ, Robert Johnston, described the platform as“one of this country’s best shop windows”.
“It gives these designers a unique chance to show international visitors the amazing talent that London Collections: Men is encouraging,”he added.
Desirée Bollier, chief executive of the company that owns the outlet village, also credited the men’s fashion week for the return.
FashionBeansis a digital ambassador of the initiative and will be providing further coverage throughout its run.
The British Designers Collective Menswear at Bicester Village is open now and will stay until 21st October 2014.
